I was under the impression that the auction deposit is only lost if the item doesn’t sell. Whenever I get the mail through from a sold item it lists the deposit as being paid back. After that I made a lot of gold mining in Nagrand - selling Adamantite stacks for 30-40g along with the gems etc. Only now I’ve found the Adamantite ore sell rather bad on my server ; I only manage to sell for 16-21g per stack now and it’s kind of hard to get rid of them. Next to that some people undercut me all the time and sell them for prices I wouldn’t really bother with. Gems that were 40g some while ago now sell for 9g and primals have lowered aswell. (Fire went from 30g to 17g) I’m now looking for new methods of making gold ; my professions are mining and skinning. (I’ve found Knothide sells only 9g per stack aswell). Obviously
